In June 2025, Bethpage Smiles entered a new chapter as Refine Dental Studio, under the ownership of Dr. Vasundhara Bhatt and Dr. Yanting Chen. While our name has changed, our dedication to compassionate, high-quality dental care remains stronger than ever.

We’re proud to continue the legacy of Dr. Krupali Shah in Bethpage, now with a fresh approach, modern technology, and a warm, patient-focused philosophy that makes your smile our top priority.

Meet Your Dentist's

Dr. Vasundhara Bhatt, DDS

Dr. Bhatt has been practicing general dentistry in New York for 7+ years after graduating from NYU College of Dentistry in 2018. Her clinical strengths include cosmetic dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, and preventive care — and she takes pride in crafting natural, confident smiles that reflect each patient’s personality.

She is passionate about building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients, and fostering a team culture where everyone feels empowered.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, working out, and caring for her indoor plant collection — and is a proud new mom.

Dr. Yanting Chen, DDS

Dr. Chen graduated from NYU College of Dentistry (2019) and brings 6+ years of extensive experience in comprehensive general dentistry, including restorative treatment, root canals, extractions, implant restorations, and advanced digital workflows like CAD/CAM and Primescan.

She has a special interest in treating patients with dental anxiety or complex medical histories, always striving to restore both health and confidence through a calm and detail-oriented approach.

When not in the office, you’ll find her exploring new bakeries, cooking, traveling, or enjoying a good Netflix series.

Dr. Bhatt and Dr. Chen first met during their training at NYU, where their shared values — compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to patient-centered care — laid the foundation for a strong friendship and professional partnership. Over the years, they’ve grown together through collaborative work, mentorship, and continued education.

Their decision to become partners in practice ownership stems from a shared mission: to provide high-quality, heartfelt dental care rooted in trust, integrity, and innovation.
